The Environmental Transport Association wasestablished in 1990 as an ethical alternative motoring organisation andsustainable travel lobby group.

 

Their aim is to raise awareness of the impact ofexcessive car use and help individuals and organisations to makepositive changes in their travel habits.

 

They continue to be a completely not-for–profitorganisation – their sustainable transport campaigning andenvironmental projects are funded by the revenue from the services theyprovide. These include an international breakdown service, which haswon awards from both Ethical Consumer magazine and the Green Fleetawards, plus a number of ethical and carbon neutral insurance services.
